Exploring IoT for real-time CO2 monitoring and analysis
Published in arXiv preprint, 2023
The escalating levels of indoor CO2 necessitate efficient environmental monitoring to comprehend implications for health, energy efficiency, and ecological well-being. This research presents a cost-effective IoT-based instrument built on the NODE MCU-ESP8266 module, incorporating MQ135 and DHT-11 sensors. The system continuously measures CO2 concentration (in ppm), temperature, and humidity, transmitting the data for long-term storage and statistical analysis to promote safer indoor environments and informed decision-making.
